A gel-based tip adhesive works differently from a standard cyanoacrylate nail glue for bonding nail tips. The solid gel formula applies in a controlled manner, does not set immediately on contact allowing for tip repositioning if needed, and cures under the UV or LED lamp to a hard flexible bond that is stronger and more compatible with the gel nail system than a standard super glue bond.
