Applied directly to the natural nail it creates a translucent tinted base for layering other polishes above, or it can be worn as a complete standalone service with a top coat for a clean translucent jelly nail finish. This dual function makes each bottle more versatile than either a standard base coat or a standard colour gel alone.
Layering with Jelly Gels
Unlike opaque gels where additional coats add coverage, jelly gels build colour depth through layering while maintaining translucency. One coat creates a very sheer wash of colour. Two coats deepens the tone while maintaining the transparent quality. Three or more coats creates a richer, more saturated jelly effect. The number of coats controls the depth of the look rather than simply adding coverage.
