Rubber base gels have become the professional standard for base coat application in modern gel nail services. Unlike older hard base gels that can crack and lift under the natural flex of the nail, rubber base gels cure to a flexible rubbery consistency that moves with the nail plate. This flexibility dramatically reduces the lifting and chipping that occurs when a rigid product meets a naturally flexible nail.
What Makes Rubber Base Different
A standard base coat cures hard. When the nail bends slightly during everyday activities the gel system has to flex with it. A rigid base coat under this flex can develop micro-cracks at the edges which eventually become lifting points. A rubber base coat cures soft and flexible, so it bends with the nail rather than resisting it. The result is significantly better edge retention and longer wear between infill appointments.
Self-Leveling Properties
Rubber base gels also have excellent self-leveling properties that help to smooth minor surface imperfections on the nail plate. Ridges, shallow grooves, and slight surface irregularities are filled and leveled by the rubber base as it settles before curing, creating a smooth even foundation for the gel colour layer above it.

For orders above 3 kg, shipping charges will be calculated based on the actual weight of your package. You will be informed before dispatch. Your order will only be shipped after you confirm the delivery cost.
