Venalisa Base Coat 10ml – TPO Free and HEMA Free
This Venalisa base coat eliminates both of the most commonly problematic sensitizing ingredients found in gel nail products. HEMA (Hydroxyethyl Methacrylate) is the primary cause of gel nail contact dermatitis, and TPO (Diphenyl(2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl)phosphine oxide) is a photoinitiator that has also been identified as a sensitizing agent in some gel products. Removing both from the formula represents a more comprehensive approach to reducing sensitization risk than HEMA-free formulations alone.
HEMA and TPO — Why They Matter
Both HEMA and TPO are ingredients that can cause the immune system to develop a sensitivity with repeated exposure.
