Born Pretty Nail Rhinestone Gel Glue 10g

Standard nail glues and super glues are not the best adhesive for bonding rhinestones and gems to gel nail services because they are not designed to flex with the nail and can cause the decoration to pop off within days. A gel-based rhinestone adhesive cures under the UV or LED lamp to a hard flexible bond that stays bonded through the full nail wear period. The Born Pretty Rhinestone Gel Glue is formulated specifically for gel nail rhinestone and decoration work.

Why Gel Glue for Rhinestones

Gel adhesive for rhinestones has several advantages over cyanoacrylate nail glue for decoration bonding. The gel does not start curing until exposed to the UV or LED lamp, giving the nail technician time to position the decoration precisely before the bond sets. The cured gel is flexible and moves with the nail. And the gel bond integrates with the gel nail system around it, meaning the decoration is anchored into the gel layer rather than just sitting on top of a surface adhesive.

Application Tips

Apply a small dot of gel glue to the nail surface at the decoration placement point. Position the rhinestone or gem onto the gel glue using a dotting tool, orange stick, or rhinestone picker. Cure under the UV or LED lamp with the decoration in place. Apply a clear top coat or gel top coat to seal over the edges of the decoration for maximum retention. Sealing the edge with top coat significantly extends how long the decoration stays on compared to leaving it exposed.
